For the month of March we're including a free evening meal when you book 'Between Mountain and Sea: A Walking and Cycling Tour of Connemara'. This seven-day, six-night active tour includes two days of walking and five days of cycling. It takes you around the stunning parts of Connemara that tourists often miss. You can take in some of Connemara’s most striking landscapes - historical ruins, towering mountains, sparkling lakes, and sweeping sea views.

If you’re feeling sick of Valentine’s Day clichés and want the antithesis of a romantic film to watch, we’re here for you. We’ve put together a list of definitely not romantic films (where possible, we’ve gone for grim!) that were filmed in Connemara. 

The clichés are true…the weather can be quite unpredictable in the west of Ireland. But we never let the weather stop us from having a great time, and indeed the misty mornings and rainswept afternoons are a huge part of the charm of Connemara!
